About
I started out washing cars in a dealership in 2004. I found myself often in the shop trying to help the other technicians rather than washing cars. Later, that same year, I was enrolled in the apprenticeship program. After serving 2 years at this dealership I found myself thirsty for more of a challenge, wanting to dive into the real nitty gritty, however I was stuck doing oil changes and tire repairs, so I moved on.
The following dealership really opened up my world of automotive service, I grew exponentially, but again found myself wanting more. Over the next few years I bounced around some private shops and dealerships, still thirsty and not satisfied. I then finally understood the saying “if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself”.
This is how Auto Consulting came to be. I have always had an interest in cars and the complexity of how many moving parts come together to perform a single function, add a computer into the mix and it can really be quite mind-blowing when problems arise. I have always said’ “there are lots of mechanics out there, but not a lot of service technicians”. The difference being, mechanics replace parts, a technician fixes/makes parts. I have always had a fascination to take things apart just to see if I could put it back together. I love what I do, and I know that you will love the service I provide whether it is regular vehicle maintenance or a custom engine swap. Happy motoring.
